Built Bailiwick, a tool designed to uncover data-driven campaign finance stories

Balliwick provides tools for visualizing campaign finance data related to the 2016 U.S. election campaign. It is an artificial intelligence tool to help journalists quickly and efficiently uncover story ideas in campaign finance data. Beyond that, Broussard’s book ‘Artificial Unintelligence: How Computers Misunderstand the World’ examines the limits of technology in solving social problems. She has written a further book entitled ‘More than a Glitch: Confronting Race, Gender, and Ability Bias in Tech’.coined the term "technochauvinism." She is an expert in the future of self-driving car technology.
