* Clark conducted with her husband the famous "doll study" showing a majority of Black children preferred white dolls, classified Black dolls as "bad" * Provided proof that segregation gave African-American children a sense of inferiority & exposed internalized racism. * Used as evidence in the 1954 Supreme Court decision in Brown v Board of Education * This was the first time social science research was presented as evidence before the Supreme Court.
