Achievements: last assignment at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is to find ways to safely use and dispose of radioactive materials; while at Westinghouse Hanford worked on construction of the Fast Flux Test Facility, investigated the viability of U-233 as a proliferation-resistant fuel, and developed a prototype low-level waste volume reduction system (RADTU); created and managed NRC’s first Knowledge Management (KM) program; first accredited ISO KM auditor in the US in 2019; conducted the first comparative survey of women and men engineers;
