Achievements: with sister Edna founded Page boy in 1937 in Dallas TX-it was the country's 1st high-end maternity-wear firm; invented & patented a 2-piece maternity suit that was chic, stylish & maintained it's hem-line during pregnancy; was the face of the company & designer of it's 1st patented suit while sister Edna kept the factory & sales shops running & sister Louise (who joined the firm 5 years later) ran the design studio
the new Page Boy skirt was constructed with a window over the area of the expanding abdomen which allowed the hemline to remain stable rather than to hike up as the woman's abdomen increased in size
a maternity-wear conglomerate acquired Page Boy in 1993 but decided to discontinue the brand
